SPANISH COUNTER-TERRORISM is an 8 hour mixture of classroom (two-hours) and hands-on training.

You will be taught a brief history of the terrorist activities in Spain and southern Europe, history of the elite Spanish counter-terrorist units operating in Basque Country, equipment & personnel selection, organization, duties and operations/tactics.

Following the classroom, you will learn by doing: basic team entries, approaches, counter explosive tactics, high risk vehicle assaults, basic combatives techniques and counter-terrorist intelligence gathering.

The training can also include additional days of tactical pistol and defensive tactics training. All training is guaranteed to fall within acceptable departmental use-of-force policies.

This, like all HSS courses, can be lengthened and tailor-made at an agency request. Your Instructor will be David Rivas, Spanish Navy Sgt.; counter-terrorist operator & team leader. He is also OIC of the HSS Office in Spain and President of High Security Solutions.
