TACTICAL RAPPEL COURSE is a one-day (8 hour) course designed for all levels of law enforcement, rescue paramedics, firefighter, governmental first responders and military operators.
Training is more than just going down a rappel tower a few times. It's a course that better prepares the student for actual missions in urban and rural environments.
You will be taken step-by-step through a basic ground school; basic knots, safety, types of ropes and tying off techniques.
The students are then taught the basics in rappelling: tower exercises, rescue techniques, belaying procedures, tying off methods and fast roping (when available). Students are also taught Belay procedures, skid rappel, hell-hole rappel and rope management (care and cleaning).
For your safety, HSS purchases new ropes for each course.
Your Instructors are all military Rappel Masters & HRST Masters. This course can be modified or tailor-made.
